So, heard the news? Ritz is closing half of their stores. Including mine.
As of 9am yesterday morning, Great American Group owned every last item in my store. The liquidation sale starts in one hour and fifty five minutes. It looks like a cold winter morning outside, maybe as if it were December -- but then again, maybe I'm just not up at 8am too often. Honestly, I would rather sell everything in the store today and be out of a job sooner than wait for my new managers to come in on Monday or Tuesday and dictate how I am to run things. Four years of hard work put into my second home. To think, I didn't even know the difference between under and over exposure before working there...
With this change in my life, along with various other personal ones, I will be considering in the next day or so whether or not to delete this journal. I think that it might be more savvy to update my life through my photography, rather than in words on a Live Journal. At least through the former I can tell you guys more.

| long time no see |

So this is what happens when you start dating someone new!
A little more about Justin: He's 27, he's got bright green eyes that sometimes change colors, he's a waiter, does lots of yoga, and deals poker at night. ( Here's a pic! )
I haven't been online in a while. Basically I've been commuting from Westchester to Woodside, Queens, about four nights a week, and staying with him. It's been pretty good, and gives me a good sense of the commute from different parts of NYC if I were to move and still work at the camera shop. I have been eating out way too much, but at least I grabbed pictures in the meantime... and updated my flickr with them.
Christmas is right around the corner, and all I can think about is commission. I wanna move out! Assuming I get this manager position next month, I'm gonna say that by February I want to have found a place... but I'll know more in the next two weeks or so. In the meantime... who wants a 16mm nikkor fisheye for $515? ♥
